Hamilton v Vettel helps Mercedes identify key weakness to Ferrari

Mercedes say their car's ability to overtake others is a key weakness that must be fixed, following Lewis Hamilton's failure to take second place off Sebastian Vettel in the Japanese Grand Prix. Hamilton was pitted late for fresh rubber in Suzuka, but could not get by the Ferrari, despite the assistance of DRS.
