Williams & Kubica inherit a point

German Grand Prix – Williams have scored their first point of 2019 after time penalties cost Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi their points finishes. Williams have scored their first point in a tumultuous 2019 after Robert Kubica was promoted to P10 after the race at Hockenheim. Kubica had finished P11 on the road, ahead of teammate George Russell, but gained two places hours after the race after both Alfa Romeo drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi were given 30 second time penalties for technical irregularities on their cars at the start of the race.
