Gasly tops FP1 as Grosjean crashes in pits - FP1 report
Pierre Gasly surprised everyone in the closing stages of FP1 to top the standings in the closing stages, but it will be Romain Grosjean who takes the headline for a bizarre pit lane crash! Not a good day for Grosjean With the pressure mounting on Romain Grosjean he reverted back to his old package for this weekend. However, it was a bad start to the day for Grosjean, who as he was exiting the pit lane he spun and crashed into the pit lane barrier. His front lane shattered over the pit lane forcing a virtual safety car. Later in the session the Frenchman spun out following a period of rain and he finished the session down in P19.
