Russell handed three-place grid penalty for impeding Kvyat
Austrian Grand Prix – After blocking Daniil Kvyat at one of the fastest parts of the circuit, George Russell has been handed a three-place grid penalty. During the first part of qualifying, Kvyat's final flying lap was compromised by a queue of cars in the final two corners. With rival drivers warming up to start their final laps, Kvyat was already on a quick lap, and encountered the slow-moving Williams of George Russell on the apex of the second-to-last corner. He took evasive action by backing off and running slightly wider, which contributed to him failing to progress into the second part of qualifying.
