Hartley to inherit Alonso's WEC seat at Toyota for 2019/20

Toyota has announced that ex-F1 driver Brendon Hartley will replace Fernando Alonso in the line-up of its #8 car for the 2019/20 WEC super season. Hartley will be present at Le Mans this weekend as a reserve driver for the Japanese manufacturer but will make his official race debut with the Toyota Gazoo Racing squad at Silverstone in September alongside team mates Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima.
