Vettel: Ferrari’s 2019 F1 car ‘not as bad as it looks’

Sebastian Vettel says Ferrari’s 2019 Formula 1 car is not “as bad as it looks” despite failing to win a race during the opening six rounds of the season. Vettel finished second behind Lewis Hamilton in the Monaco Grand Prix to deny Mercedes a sixth consecutive one-two finish, though it still managed to keep up its 100 percent victory record so far season. The German has moved up to third in the drivers’ standings but is 55 points adrift of championship leader Hamilton, while Mercedes heads Ferrari by 118 points in the constructors’ championship. “I saw that Valtteri [Bottas] was faster but there was no way he was going to pass, as our straight line speed is really good,”...
