Ferrari consider bringing back Resta from Alfa Romeo

Ferrari is considering whether to bring back Alfa Romeo Racing technical director Simone Resta to its Formula 1 team. Resta was head of vehicle project coordination at Ferrari until the middle of 2018, and had also been the role of chief designer since the end of 2014. He then joined Ferrari customer team, Sauber, which has recently been named Alfa Romeo, and Resta is the side's technical director at the start of July. Under new team principal, Mattia Binotto, Ferrari is looking around to try and bolster its squad, following an underwhelming start to the 2019 season.
