Williams: Silly Ferrari rules veto makes no sense for F1

Claire Williams has described Ferrari having the right to veto Formula 1 rules is "silly" and "makes no sense". F1's governing body is a democracy, meaning everybody gets a say in the conclusive decision; however, Ferrari have had the right to block regulation changes for decades now. Scuderia boss Mattia Binotto said during the Spanish GP weekend, that he was confident of keeping the veto available to the Italian side after discussions over F1's 2021 rule overhaul.
