Two day in-season test begins in Barcelona
Formula 1's final formal test days of 2019 are underway, with a two day in-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya. Along with the two pre-season tests at the same venue, Formula 1 rules allow for two in-season tests to place each season. This year, both of those tests have come quite early in the year with the first one held in Bahrain in the days following the Grand Prix. The second, and final, test got underway on Tuesday in Barcelona, with all the teams fielding a car. Alongside the team's tests, Pirelli are also running their own test programme with Ferrari and Racing Point supplying an extra car for use by the tyre manufacturer.
