Gasly takes new gearbox after Friday penalty
Pierre Gasly has taken a fresh gearbox ahead of this weekend's Azerbaijan Grand Prix after being resigned to a pit lane start following an infringement in practice on Friday. Gasly failed to stop for the FIA weighbridge at the end of FP2 at the Baku City Circuit, with the stewards punishing the Red Bull driver by forcing him to start Sunday's race from the pit lane. In light of the penalty, Red Bull has opted to change the gearbox on Gasly's car prior to Saturday's sessions in Azerbaijan, as confirmed by FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer following the start of FP3 in Baku.
