Louis Deletraz gets official Haas F1 simulator position

Louis Deletraz has joined Haas in an official capacity in Formula 1 after taking up a position as the team’s simulator driver. The ex-Renault F1 junior, mentored by Haas racer Romain Grosjean, first linked up with the operation towards the end of 2018. Deletraz carried out running in the VF-18 post-season Abu Dhabi test and has now formally joined Haas, providing back up to reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi. “My first F1 test with Haas in November was a dream come true and I have enjoyed a good relationship with the team ever since,” explained Deletraz. “I’m pleased that they’ve been happy with my work and I feel honoured and grateful that the team want...
