Grosjean not concerned by front wing failure
Romain Grosjean has no concerns after he suffered a front wing failure in Free Practice 2 ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix. The right-hand side of the VF-19's front wing began to collapse at turn 1 as the Frenchman began his flying lap. This process would continue, causing Grosjean to lose downforce, lock up and go wide at turn 14. Despite a similar incident occuring back in pre-season testing, the 32-year-old does not believe there is specific cause for the issue. “I don’t think I hit any kerb,” he told media including RaceFans at Shanghai. “It collapsed in turn one.
