First in-season test of 2019 begins on Tuesday in Bahrain

Bahrain – Formula 1's first in-season test of 2019 begins on Tuesday, running for two days. Along with pre-season testing in Barcelona, there are two additional in-season tests this season. The first is this week, running on Tuesday and Wednesday at Bahrain's Sakhir Circuit. The second one will take place in May at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya on the Tuesday and Wednesday following the Spanish Grand Prix. These tests are collective tests, and offer the teams valuable additional development time away from the pressures of a Grand Prix weekend.
