Rosberg surprised by Melbourne 'fastest ever' start procedure

After the unexpected passing last Thursday of Charlie Whiting, F1's long-standing race director, the race's starting procedure in Melbourne was entrusted to new FIA man Michael Masi. Not only was Rosberg surprised by the short interval between when the five red lights were turned on and then off, the 2016 world champion believes it was a deciding factor in Valtteri Bottas' race win.
