Hamilton: "The team have worked to perfection"
Lewis Hamilton took a stunning pole position at Albert Park ahead of tomorrow's race, but thanked the team for their efforts over the winter to provide him with a machine capable fo such a quick time. The reigning World Champion overturned a four-tenth deficit from the first Q3 runs to team mate Valtteri Bottas and complained over the radio about brake issues. But he didn't let that stop him, putting in an incredible lap to set the new lap record around the track and secure his sixth pole position in a row in Melbourne.
