Haas need to find that ‘last two tenths'
Guenther Steiner reckons it could be as little as 'two tenths' that decide whether or not Haas can fight for this year's ‘best of the rest' tag. The 2019 Formula 1 season began in Melbourne on Friday with Romain Grosjean Haas' best placed driver in tenth place. The Frenchman's fastest lap time was 1.2s shy of P1 but only two tenths adrift of Kimi Raikkonen, who was the fastest runner outside of Mercedes, Ferrari or Red Bull. “The feeling is similar to last year,” Steiner told Racer. “We are confident, but we don’t know the last two tenths, and the last two tenths you cannot find out until you actually go and race. “So even tomorrow morning you get a...
