Perez aiming to be best of the rest

Racing Point may have finished way down the table in 2018 following Force India’s collapse but Sergio Perez is well aware they need to be pushing for, best of the rest. Perez will be joined by Lance Stroll in 2019, following Lawrence Stroll’s purchase of Force India after the team went into administration, midway through 2019. Perez was able to keep his seat despite Stroll replacing the talented Esteban Ocon and the Mexican is well aware the team are not yet ready to push for the top three. “We are not the fastest in the centre, but not even the slowest,” Perez told Marca. “The difference between the quickest and the quickest does not come in half a second....
