McLaren confirm deal with British American Tobacco
McLaren have announced another new partnership with British American Tobacco ahead of the 2019 season. BAT are no strangers to Formula 1 having previously had its own Formula 1 team, British American Racing, from 1999 to 2004 before Honda took over control. And now they are back with McLaren, who become the second team after Ferrari to become linked once again with a tobacco company. 'We welcome BAT to the McLaren team and support their ambition of delivering meaningful and lasting change through innovation,” said McLaren CEO Zak Brown.
