Fernando Alonso part of winning team at Daytona
Fernando Alonso, together with his teammates Jordan Taylor, Kamui Kobayashi & Renger Van Der Zande, has won the Daytona 24 Hours. The famous 24 hour Daytona race, part of the IMSA Weathertech Championship, was curtailed due to bad weather on Sunday, with the race eventually being called ahead of the scheduled end with no hope of the race resuming. There were quite a few former F1 drivers taking part in the Rolex 24 Hour race, with Fernando Alonso being the most high profile of these, fresh from his retirement from Formula 1 in November.
