Ericsson feels wins are possible in IndyCar debut season

Marcus Ericsson believes that wins are a possibility in his first IndyCar season. The Swede was replaced at Sauber ahead of the 2019 season and will make the switch to the American series and drive for the Schmidt Peterson Motorsports team. Although he struggled with Sauber in 2018 compared to his Ferrari-bound teammate Charles Leclerc, Ericsson has set an ambitious target of scoring a race win in his first season in the series, adding that he has to aim high and make an impact. "Winning a race is the goal for sure; it has to be. I have huge respect for the top guys in this series who have been here a long time, and have experience racing on these types of tracks in this type of car....
