Hamilton buys second $40-million New York apartment
Five times Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton has reportedly dropped $40-million on a second luxury apartment in New York's trendy Tribeca district, a little less than he will earn this season defending his title. Wall Street Journal report that the Mercedes driver has purchased a second apartment in the Big Apple, less than two years ago he spent $44-million on a similar pad in the area which includes neighbours such as Justin Timberlake, Robert De Niro, Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Jay-Z. The report adds that Hamilton's new 880 square-metre (including outdoor space) apartment, located at 70 Vestry Street in the Tribeca neighbourhood of Manhattan, has unobstructed views of the Hudson...
