Sainz reveals eagerness to get going with McLaren

Carlos Sainz has moved on to his third team in three years and is looking to finally find his home with McLaren as he prepares for 2019 with the legendary team. McLaren have had years in the doldrums and haven’t won a race since Jenson Button topped the podium in the final race of 2012 in Brazil. Sainz is considered a good driver but has not yet fulfilled his potential in the sport, being outclassed by Nico Hulkenberg at Renault in 2018 and will race alongside British rookie Lando Norris and will be expected to lead the team.
