Tost: We will fully exploit the synergies with Red Bull

Inconsistency and bad reliability plagued Toro Rosso in 2018, as the team provided Honda with the test bed ahead of Red Bull joining the party after ditching Honda power and partnering with the Japanese manufacturer which Franz Tost believes will pay off. Although they have improved, Honda were hardly challenging Ferrari and Mercedes in the power stakes as they prepped for 2019, for which Toro Rosso took the punches as the ‘test team' with the bigger picture in mind.
