Hamilton top driver of 2018 by far say F1 team principals

Having sealed his fifth Formula 1 World Champion title last month, Lewis Hamilton has now received one of the highest (unofficial) accolades a driver can receive by being rated the best driver of the year by team principals. Team chiefs were requested by Autosport to rate their top 10 drivers using F1’s scoring system (25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1) to calculate the winner. The team bosses who participated were: Toto Wolff, Christian Horner, Cyril Abiteboul, Gunther Steiner, Zak Brown, Otmar Szafnaeur, Fred Vasseur, Franz Tost, and Claire Williams with only Ferrari chief Maurizio Arrivabene, opting not to take part.
