Bottas left drained: ‘Difficult to take many positives from 2019'

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas finished P5 at Yas Marina, and says that he's looking forward to taking some time out from F1 after a tough year on track. Bottas had looked nailed on for a podium finish in the final race of the year, held at Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi, but the complexion of his race changed dramatically when a brake issue set in. Making a small error into the first chicane, Sebastian Vettel was able to pounce on the Mercedes man to pass him and claim P2, while Max Verstappen compounded Bottas' misery by overtaking him shortly after the Finn locked up under braking into the chicane separating the two long straights.
