Feature: F1 statistics during Robert Kubica's eight-year absence

Motorsport Week takes a look at some of the statistics of Formula 1 since Robert Kubica was last on the entry list as a race driver. Robert Kubica is set to line-up on the Formula 1 grid in 2019 following confirmation of his promotion to a Williams race seat – by which time it will be over eight-and-a-half years since his previous start. That equates to a period in which 158 Grands Prix will have taken place – 157 plus the upcoming Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. In that 157-race period Lewis Hamilton has taken 58 victories, Sebastian Vettel 42, with the now-retired Nico Rosberg third on the list with 23.
