Renault retired Nico Hulkenberg to avoid Abu Dhabi setback

Renault says it retired Nico Hulkenberg from the Brazilian Grand Prix as a precaution, in order to avoid a setback at next weekend’s Abu Dhabi finale. Renault endured a low-key showing at the penultimate round of the season at Interlagos, with neither Hulkenberg – who crashed in practice – nor Carlos Sainz Jr. making Q3.
