Porsche, Lamborghini rule out F1
Porsche won't be knocking on F1's door any time soon with a Volkswagen insider saying the time for entering F1 is 'just wrong.' Porsche were reportedly considering entering Formula 1 in 2021, their return co-inciding with new engine regulations. However, with F1's engine manufacturers backing down on several issues, including dropping the MGU-H, Porsche's interest has waned. Porsche falls under the VW umbrell.a A VW insider told Auto Motor und Sport: 'The time for an F1 entry is just wrong.'
