Ricciardo PUNCHES hole in wall after COTA DNF

Daniel Ricciardo was so enraged by his non-finish at the United States Grand Prix that he punched a hole in the wall of his driver room, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner revealed. Ricciardo's car shut down after just nine laps at the Circuit of the Americas. Ricciardo made contact with Sebastian Vettel on the opening lap in Austin, although it is not suspected to have caused the Australian's seventh DNF of the year. Max Verstappen taking second place from 18th on the grid suggested that a big result had been on for Ricciardo, which clearly angered him.
