Hamilton's goal was to match Senna, not Schumi

Lewis Hamilton has said matching Michael Schumacher's record-breaking seven World Championships was never a goal of his. The Brit is closing in on a fifth World title and could clinch it at the upcoming United States Grand Prix if he is able to outscore Sebastian Vettel by eight points at his beloved Circuit of The Americas – a track where he has won five times in six races. But, with more records on the horizon for Hamilton, he has said he has already accomplished his main career goal of equalling Ayrton Senna's three World Championships, which he achieved in 2015.
