Ricciardo: Sochi live driving in a car park!
Daniel Ricciardo has provided an unflattering description of the Sochi Autodrom which is the venue for the upcoming Russia Grand Prix, commenting that driving on the circuit is like driving around a car park. The Australian also doesn't fancy Red Bull's chances for a podium place. Red Bull enjoyed a positive outing at the last GP in Singapore as Max Verstappen finished second despite engine issues, while Ricciardo could only manage sixth. The 29-year-old is expecting a similarly tough race for himself in Sochi, and doesn't think Verstappen will fair too well either on the "pretty unique" street circuit.
