Channel 4 to show F1 2019 highlights, British GP live
Channel 4 will show the 2019 Formula 1 British Grand Prix live, as well as race highlights from every round of the season. Sky Sports had secured exclusive live rights to broadcast F1 from 2019 as part of a five-year deal, meaning F1 was set to move from terrestrial to pay-to-view TV from next season. But an “innovative content partnership” agreed between Sky and Channel 4 - announced on Wednesday - will result in Channel 4 continuing its coverage in the form of race highlights, while it has also secured rights to broadcast the British Grand Prix live.
