Alonso disagreed with McLaren's tyre choice

Fernando Alonso told his team McLaren that they called him in "way too early" for intermediate tyres during yesterday's race. McLaren driver Fernando Alonso is very critical of his team's timing to make the switch to intermediate tyres during the race yesterday. Several drivers were called into the pits when the light rain hit Hockenheim, including the Spaniard. Alonso warned his team that the tyres would be "destroyed in the dry parts" whilst having the tyres changed. Not long after, the Spaniard said on the team radio that his tyres were ruined and it had stopped raining.
