Provisional German GP grid

Sebastian Vettel will start Sunday's German GP from the front of the grid having secured pole position while Daniel Ricciardo is at the very back. Vettel stormed to pole in Saturday's qualifying, claimed the coveted grid slot with a new lap record of 1:11.212. That put him 0.204s up on Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas. As for the other Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton will start 14th on the grid after a hydraulic issue meant he could not take his place in Q2. Meanwhile at the very back of the grid is Ricciardo.
