It's game over for F2 racer Ferrucci and Trident!

Haas development driver and banned F2 racer Santino Ferrucci has seen his contract with Trident Motorsport terminated by the Italian junior outfit. The 20-yrear-old American driver was banned by the FIA last week for two events - Hungary and Spa - of the Formula 2 championship after his controversial actions at Silverstone. Ferrucci deliberately ran into the back of his Trident team mate Arjun Maini's car on the cool down lap of the sprint race, but the young man was also hit with a hefty 66,000 fine for some illegal multi-tasking ordriving his car from the paddock to the grid without a glove on and while holding a mobile phone!
