Alonso continues to claim McLaren are making progress
McLaren’s number 1 driver has told PlanetF1 that McLaren are still making progress despite seemingly going backwards since the Spanish Grand Prix. He remains adamant that the team will reach their end goal. Both McLaren drivers failed to make it into the second qualifying session at the French Grand Prix. Having scored at every race prior to Monaco, Fernando Alonso has not finished in the last three races. “I think we go to Austria looking to deepen our understanding of the car.
