Raikkonen pleased with SF7-1H behaviour on altered Pirelli compounds

French Grand Prix – Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen finished P3 on Sunday, and said that his car handled well on the tyre compounds that proved so problematic for the team in Spain. Raikkonen had a battling race at Paul Ricard, having started from a disappointing P6. Making a decent start, he committed to the outside of Turn 1, which he admitted afterwards was ‘the wrong side'. This was due to the collision triggered by his teammate Sebastian Vettel with Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas, who spun off and caused lots of drivers to take evading action.
