Ricciardo ‘pissed' at AGP grid penalty decision
Daniel Ricciardo Daniel Ricciardo described a stewards decision to issue a three-place grid penalty for the Australian Grand Prix as ’s**thouse.’ The Red Bull Racing driver was judged to have driven too fast on his way back to the pits following a red flag period midway through Practice 2 caused by a loose timing cable on the start/finish straight. Ricciardo had been on a flying lap and failed to stay above the minimum time set by the FIA ECU, although evidence proved the five-time grand prix winner slowed down significantly, which lessened the severity of his penalty.
