Renault: We need to reduce costs and level the playing field

Renault supports a way to cut the costs of what it takes to race in Formula 1 and be competitive, while also level the playing field which has become increasingly lopsided in favour of the big teams with almost limitless budgets and the minnows who toil away restricted by lack of funding. Renault's chief technical officer Bob Bell told N that he favours a way to reduce and control the gap between the haves and the have-nots, 'Renault is in favour of a reduction in the amount of money it costs to go Formula 1 racing and be successful.'
