Williams hits out at criticism of Stroll and Sirotkin
Williams F1 deputy team principal Claire Williams has defended her team's 2018 driver line-up from widespread media and fan criticism. Both Lance Stroll and new signing Sergey Sirotkin have been attacked as 'pay drivers', something the team vigorously denies. "I was quite perturbed I suppose by the negativity around our driver line-up," Williams told Sky Sports. "What is wrong with bringing new talent into the sport?" she asked. "That's what we all complain about it, isn't it? For me, people complaining about our driver line-up is a load of old rubbish. "I think they'll do a great job this year. I certainly hope they do.
