Ricciardo: I let frustration creep in a little bit too much
Daniel Ricciardo believes that he was too sensitive to the nuances of his car which in the past served him well, but this season he fears this way of driving may have impacted his performances leading to frustration with the Red Bull RB13, but at the same time he feels that he grew as a driver. Despite high pre-season expectations, stats will show that Ricciardo failed to finish on the podium in the first four races of the season but then followed that up with five podiums in a row, including his against all odds victory in Baku – the only one he would score all year on his way to fifth in the final Formula 1 world championship standings.
