Alonso to use Indy-themed helmet at USGP
ernando Alonso will run a "tribute" helmet at the upcoming United States Grand Prix, based on the design he used at this year's Indianapolis 500.Alonso races with a predominantly yellow, blue and red helmet in Formula 1, and transferred those colours to a black base for his Indy 500 appearance.On his return to the United States next weekend, he will use a similar design, featuring his permanent F1 number, 14, rather than the 29 used at Indianapolis.Alonso qualified fifth on his Indy 500 debut and ran with the leading group in the race until an engine failure, after which Takuma Sato secured victory.Alonso intends to return the 'Brickyard' in the future, in his push to secure the...
