Bottas needs ‘a good look in the mirror'

Falling seven-tenths behind Lewis Hamilton in qualifying for the Malaysian GP, Valtteri Bottas concedes he needs to take a 'good look in the mirror.' Bottas has struggled against Hamilton in qualifying this season and it was more of the same at Sepang on Saturday. While the British racer claimed pole position with a 1:30.076, Bottas qualified down in fifth place, 0.682s off the pace. 'For me, I'm still really far away,' the Finn said. 'It's tricky being such a big amount of time off the pace. As a driver it's difficult to accept. 'I need to try and find the answer and not let it get in my head. 'It's so easy to try too much in this sport but I need to have a good look in the mirror again.'
