FP1 start delayed 'indefinitely' due to rain

– Formula 1 officials have delayed the start of the first practice session for the Malaysian Grand Prix "indefinitely" due to heavy rain showers arriving in the area and drenching the Sepang International Circuit.Overnight rainfall ensured a damp track and paddock as teams arrived for Friday's running and, after a calmer spell, conditions deteriorated again in the build up to opening practice.Amid air and track temperatures of around 25°C, and 90 per cent humidity, rain intensified, casting doubt over the session.Race Control, after a similar situation at the Italian Grand Prix, duly announced an "indefinite" delay to the start of the session, as it waits for a...
