Pierre Gasly sympathetic towards Daniil Kvyat's plight
Pierre Gasly says he “feels sorry” for Daniil Kvyat, after replacing the Russian at Toro Rosso for the next two Grands Prix. Gasly will make his F1 bow in Malaysia this weekend, and will remain in the STR12 in Japan, though Toro Rosso’s intentions for the remainder of the season have not yet been determined. Gasly described Kvyat as “talented” and is sure that he will be back on the grid in the future. “I didn’t have the chance to talk with him yet,” said Gasly. “Unfortunately, that’s how it works in this sport.
