Sections of Marina Bay circuit resurfaced

– Sections of the Marina Bay Street Circuit have been resurfaced prior to this year's running of the Singapore Grand Prix.The track has been resurfaced around Turns 1 and 2, on a 100-metre section exiting Turn 5, and on areas around Turns 12/13 and Turns 15/16/17.In order to improve safety standards, additional TecPro segments have been installed in the barriers at Turns 1, 5, 7, 8, 10, 14, 16 and 22.Elsewhere, the pit wall has been moved away from the garages by 275mm, with the fast lane markings shifted by the same amount, to ensure cars are slightly further from the working lane.Friday's first 90-minute practice session will begin at 16:30 local time.
