Honda's 1967 RA300 to be demonstrated at Monza

Honda’s RA300 will be demonstrated during this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix to mark the 50th anniversary of the car’s victory at Monza. The RA300 made its debut at Monza in 1967 and John Surtees captured victory, though it proved to be Honda’s final win as entrant until Jenson Button’s triumph in Hungary in 2006. “This race will be the 50-year anniversary of Honda’s victory in the Italian Grand Prix in 1967,” said Honda chief Yusuke Hasegawa. “It was our second victory in F1, with the RA300 winning its debut race with John Surtees behind the wheel. “We’re planning a demonstration run in Monza on Sunday before the race, and I...
