Force India set to change name for 2018

– Force India looks set to change its name to Force One Grand Prix after the new moniker, and several other iterations, were registered with Companies House in the UK.Indian businessman Vijay Mallya brought the Force India name to Formula 1 in 2008, when he took over Spyker, but a change is now on the cards for commercial reasons.Six businesses – Force One Grand Prix, Force One Team, Force One Racing, Force One Brand, Force One Technology, Force One Hospitality – were registered from late May to early June, with Thiruvannamalai Lakshmi Kanthan, a long-time associate of Mallya, the only named official.Force India's Chief Operating Officer, Otmar Szafnauer, referenced the demise of...
