Sainz Jr. critical of Toro Rosso approach
– Carlos Sainz Jr. criticised Toro Rosso for its approach during qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix, believing he and team-mate Daniil Kvyat were not afforded equal chances.Sainz Jr. felt that Kvyat was allowed to use his slipstream in order to improve his lap times during the session, without the favour being repaid on his own hot laps.Sainz Jr. was eliminated in Q2, setting the 13th best time, two positions behind Kvyat, who was hindered by a call to the weighbridge and a brush with the wall at Turn 9."I was of course complaining because I was never getting a slipstream," said Sainz Jr."Behind me there were people getting my slipstream, interesting enough it was...
