Lewis Hamilton delights in 'sexy' Canadian GP pole lap
Lewis Hamilton described his Canadian Grand Prix pole effort as a “sexy lap” as he beat Ferrari rival Sebastian Vettel during qualifying at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. Hamilton edged Vettel by just 0.004s during the early stages of Q3 before moving clear on his final run, recording a time of 1:11.459, to finish 0.330s faster than Vettel.
